UniCredit & Universities Foundation has launched a competition for 2 Best Paper Awards on the Economics of Discrimination.

The award grants EUR 2,000 (gross) per paper. The winners will be invited to present their paper during the workshop on the Economics of Discrimination organised in co-operation with the Centre for Studies in Economics and Finance (CSEF) and the Economics Department of the University of Southampton, with the support of UniCredit & Universities Foundation and the Royal Economic Society.
The workshop will be held at Conference Center of the University of Naples on 1 and 2 September 2015.
Areas of interest include but are not restricted to:
- economic theories of discrimination;
- discrimination in the labor market;
- discrimination in other markets (education, credit, services);
- discrimination and public policy.
Uri Gneezy (University of California, San Diego) and Peter Kuhn (University of California, Santa Barbara) will deliver keynote lectures.
Organizers of the workshop are: Annalisa Scognamiglio, Mirco Tonin and Michael Vlassopoulos.
